Parking
Zakynthos Town
The centre has paid blue zones with coin meters. Free spaces are by the port and in side streets further out.
How street parking works
- Blue zones: pay and display, about €0.50–1.50 an hour, Monday–Saturday in business hours. Evenings, Sundays and holidays are usually free unless the sign says otherwise.
- Most meters take coins only. Carry €0.50, €1 and €2 coins.
- Some white-lined spaces in town are for residents. Yellow lines: no parking, you risk a fine or towing.
- Alexander Roma Street has been closed to cars since May 2025.
Where to park
Good to know
- It's busiest 11:00–15:00. Come before 10:00 or after 18:00.
