LoveGreece ("we") runs the LoveGreece website and mobile apps. This policy explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account: email address, password (stored hashed) or Google sign-in identifier, display name.
- Profile (optional): photo, bio, current location you type in, Instagram handle.
- Community content: posts, photos, videos, comments, likes, meetups and private messages you send.
- Safety records: reports you file and travelers you block.
- Trip planner: the trip details you enter are sent to an AI model to create your itinerary and are not stored on your account.
We do not track your precise device location, sell personal data, or show third-party ads.
How we use it
To run your account, show your content to other signed-in members, deliver messages, keep the community safe, and answer support requests.
Who can see it
Posts, profiles, comments and meetups are visible to signed-in members only. Private messages are visible only to the sender and recipient. Our moderators can review reported content.
Service providers
Data is hosted with our cloud infrastructure provider. AI itineraries are generated by an AI provider. Booking links (ferries, tours, car rental) open partner sites governed by their own privacy policies.
Retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your profile (Edit profile → Delete my account); this permanently erases your profile, posts, media, comments, meetups and messages. See Data deletion.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export or delete your data and object to processing. Contact hello@ilovegreece.dev.

The community is for people aged 16 and over.
